New Videos from Bushkill Sessions
We had a great time shooting some videos for the Bushkill Sessions, a new venture from auteur Sam Erickson. Sam also took some great pics of the band. You can see the whole thing here. These are all live in the studio, with The Woodsmen, shot in barn near Woodstock NY. We did three songs: Kings Upon the Town, This Rounds on Me, and Waiting for Something Else to Go Wrong.
Good Ink For Western Soul
Western Soul has gathered a lot of positive reviews, which is always nice to see. To read the full review, click on the name of the publication. “A confident album with moments of immense wisdom, reflection and observation. For an hour, it’s inevitable that you’ll be swept up and lost in Adelman’s Western world. Western Soul Now On Vinyl
Western Soul is finally available on vinyl. It was a long wait, but I am satisfied with the finished product. Western Soul is an all-analog record so having the vinyl in hand is a culmination of that process. This is of importance as the music you are hearing is the music that was recorded. There is no pitch correction, no scooting beats, no cutting and pasting, just authentic music. There are few all analog records being recorded these days and while it doesn’t matter much to most, it matters to me. The album has garnered some positive reviews which is always nice to see. Here's a smattering. "A confident album with moments of immense wisdom, reflection and observation. For an hour, it’s inevitable that you’ll be swept up and lost in Adelman’s Western world." - Americana UK "it's the slower, emotionally stripped out tracks, such as the hobo narrative 'Vagabond Shoes', the Guy Clark-like [...]
